Thank you, Ashish. We're not in a zero risk situation. But if we spend all of our time stressing rare events, we'll lose sight of the big picture, which is that the vaccines are paving the road back to normalcy. https://t.co/HoeWspc1ep

Yeah. And then I go over to the NYT and see shit-for-brains assclown “experts” saying that the CDC director was wrong, and that we should hide inside until protons fly apart, and I realize our experts are just as bad as I already knew.
I’m not even linking to that damn article. It’s just such a piece of utter balderdash.
There is no 100% safety in life. It’s an unobtainable goal. Nothing will change this.
Serena Abweh deadlifts 150kg (330lb) at a bodyweight of 47kg (104lbs).
Goddamn she is a monster. And I mean that in a good way. I look like I am dying when I lift that much and she’s smiling? Come the fuck on. Now you’re just showing off. (And I like it.)
The problem with the experts is that the vast majority of them do not look either as healthy or beautiful as Paltrow. (Not saying she's right, but as with "personal trainers" who aren't fit, looking like your advice works, matters.) https://t.co/7T8RqcvhL9

It’s like when vegans aver how healthy and salubrious the vegan diet is, and they invariably look like shambling corpses just arisen from some moldy sepulcher. Not the best advertisement for a “healthy” diet, really.
Should Masking Last Beyond The Pandemic? Flu And Colds Are Down, Spurring A Debate.
No fucking thank you. Fuck that and fuck anyone who wants this. It means I will essentially be barred from public life.
Fuck that so much.
Fast delivery speeds come at a price — for someone. So does cheap fast food. We’re all degraded by the bargain companies like Amazon ask us to accept
— Sarah Jones (@onesarahjones) April 2, 2021
Another false choice. In many countries, the price of fast food is about the same as it is in the US or only slightly more expensive, and those workers have six weeks of paid vacation per year and a minimum wage that’s 3x as high.
The same could be true of an Amazon-like consumer experience.
This couple made many, many mistakes. I could not find that they were any part of a current registered LLC in Massachusetts or Connecticut, which was the most grievous error.
This makes them personally liable for debts and costs, which is why they’d be selling their home to deal with this. You should never do this. There’s a reason LLCs are used and that they didn’t spin one up is totally on them.
Also, buying a commercial warehouse as your sole source of income? Another version of the landlords who make risky investments and complain when they don’t pan out. Sucks to be them, but they did it to themselves.
Do you think had COVID-19 not happened, Trump would have been re-elected? Because I do.
— abolish the death penalty (@girlziplocked) April 2, 2021
Oh yeah. It wouldn’t even have been close. It’d’ve been Trump in a landslide.
The only reason Biden was chosen is because he was best-positioned to defeat Sanders in the primary. The panjandrums of the DNC didn’t care if he won the main game or not. That was just incidental, and accidental due to the pandemic.
I love these lines from Miranda Lambert’s “Bluebird:”
Well, I’m a giver
Yeah, and I’m still giving ’em hell
Forgiving’s pretty hard
So I made an art out of forgettin’ ’em well
Miranda, you write that about me?
3.4M vaccinations reported today! Weekly average up to 2.9M.
30% of total population (37.5% of eligible population) has received at least one dose.
At this pace we're headed for Israel-like vaccination levels in one month. Let's step it up even more!!https://t.co/TZyKWgsEfh pic.twitter.com/z1SDipyzmL

Well, at least in one area we’re rocking the mic like a vandal. I’ll take it.
