Big iron

I recently had a large part in designing the infrastructure for a huge customer environment at work — over $11 million in hardware alone.

Recently, they went live with thousands of users worldwide and it went off without a hitch.

Nice when something you worked on so long goes off seamlessly that involves so very many moving parts and changes.

Embargo

Think I will go back to a self-imposed embargo of writing about politics. Both sides are chock full of various morons, the confident yet clueless and conspiracy theorists who will apparently believe anything that the CIA claims (how’d that work out in Iraq?).

What’ll occur is beyond my control, and the American people collectively are getting exactly what they deserve.

It’s not going to be pretty and it’ll destroy a lot of lives, but time passes and most of what appears relevant isn’t.
