Yeah, that is funny when it happens. I’ve gotten that a few times. “Dude, I was literally there.” It’s mostly happened about 9/11 and the years after that. Young people often have absurdly wrong ideas about what occurred and what it was like after the event. Some of them are content to “tell” you what it was like though you lived through it.

Also, I find it a general indictment of humanity that you can go from being “creepy” to “dreamy” just by getting hotter with no other changes in demeanor, personality or behavior. And yes, I will bust out the classic as it is true:
