People can’t seem to tell that images that are very obviously photoshopped are in fact photoshopped.

In a similar vein, many men say things like, “She’s not wearing any makeup and she looks great!” when the woman in question is obviously wearing loads of makeup.

I am not particularly observant, so not sure what’s going on in these instances, but they seem similar to me.
