Sometimes I read things and they are so terrible I think, what went wrong with you for you to write like this? It happens a lot in IT-related works but it’s common elsewhere, too.

In the book (well, one of the 9) I am reading now, I just encountered this sentence:

“Otherwise, the Internet would be an unusable big bowl of spaghetti and we would all still be writing letters and buying stamps.”

And that’s not the worst. Not by far. That’s just the bit I most recently stumbled on and then guffawed at.
