Can we talk about the absurd number of sex offenders we have in the nerd community? We have so many rapists, pedophiles, hebephiles, sexual assaulters running around these events acting like women are the consolation prizes for their years of being "ostracized" when younger.

Agreed, but you think the nerd community is bad you should try a frat house or any jock gathering. Literally (going by the stats) 3x worse.
And why is ostracized in quotes there? We were ostracized. I certainly was. Heavily. It’s not fictional. It doesn’t give one a right to harass or assault, sure, but what a way to waste your point in useless minimization of other people’s pain.
She reminds me of the girls who would come up to me after I got my ass kicked in middle school and tell me I deserved it for being such a nerd. Yep, that happened. She is exactly that type.
