I wish gender weren’t so emphasized in society, but at the same time fighting against gender is like fighting the ocean. It’s mostly a waste of time and won’t change much. Most people believe in gender, a lot of it is fun, and it’s probably ineradicable. Most likely small changes can be made on the margins, but gender will rotate around an axis (or several) and not change much over time, just vary a bit in a cycle.
