This is the only cover of “Time of the Season” that is any good, and they somehow managed to do it without the iconic Mellotron synth. If you’d asked me before I would’ve said it was just not possible.

I’ve always liked this song because it’s supposed to be a love song but it also sounds menacing in a peculiar way. The twins understood this, obviously (as they released it on Halloween), so it succeeded as a cover.
