Terminator 3 looks great in 4K better than Genisys for some reason

Terminator 3 was filmed with Panavision Panaflex Platinum cameras and Panavision Primo Primes spherical lenses on 35mm film. Was unable to discover what type of film, exactly.

Genisys was filmed largely on ARRI Alexa cameras, which are digital, and a wide variety of other digital cameras of varying quality (with some film cameras used when the digital couldn’t handle the shooting environment).

This is why Terminator 3 looks better than Genisys. Those Panavision Panaflex and Pana lenses are amazing. The ARRI Alexa and various other cameras are ok to bad, and digital in general is much flatter.
