I grew up in a single-wide until the age of 8 or 9. After that, we upgraded to a double-wide. That was a big deal for us. My parents could barely afford it but a single-wide with two kids was untenable.
Then my dad lost his job and then they really couldnโt afford it, though it didnโt get repossessed (car did, though).
Iโve never really watched Roseanne, but itโs one of the few to show working-class people that I am aware of.
