Exactly. Every single holiday ever is made-up, ersatz, bullshit, fake, built on shaky or wrong or terrible foundations, and are are at the same time necessary for building a community, a society, a nation — and are just plain fun.
The arrogant, clueless “progressive” thinking they are springing some big gotcha on everyone by saying, “Here’s the REAL HISTORY of Thanksgiving” are the equivalent of the tech-bro-engineer “well, actually….” guy and just as annoying and worthless.
What good do the progs think attempt to take away Thanksgiving is even going to do, anyway? How do they think that helps anything at all?

Windows Defender and also many, many NBA (network behavioral analysis) tools use non-trivial probabilistic models to assess system threats.

An interesting consequence of this is that on two endpoints loaded with all the same versions of everything, some file or process might be marked as a threat and quarantined on one system, while on a functionally-identical machine the same (SHA1-identical hash) file is not. Makes many things much harder rather than easier.
When I listen to dating advice from the manosphere things usually go wrong.
It's because:
1) The manosphere is comprised of bitter men with failed relationships.
2) Women aren't all the same.

Generally, anyone in IT can very easily find out anything you’ve done on any work device, and knows the “secret” stuff you’ve been doing, but unless it’s highly illegal or dangerous, they won’t narc you out and don’t care that much.
With all the revelations about Google’s privacy-destroying tactics and their crippling ad-blocking in Chrome, Firefox, if they hadn’t been so damn bone-headed, should be killing it.
Instead, they are a sad also-ran. That’s what happens when you fuck your most devoted user base.
