I wish there were some contemporary-ish milfic that wasn’t written like a Tom Clancy book. If I weren’t so lazy I’d write it myself. But I won’t, because see above.

Straight Out Da Trailer Park
(I grew up in a singlewide until I was 11 so as a kid even the Connor household looked pretty fuckinโ palatial space-wise)
โ B. Bolander (@BBolander) November 21, 2019
I grew up in a single-wide until the age of 8 or 9. After that, we upgraded to a double-wide. That was a big deal for us. My parents could barely afford it but a single-wide with two kids was untenable.
Then my dad lost his job and then they really couldn’t afford it, though it didn’t get repossessed (car did, though).
I’ve never really watched Roseanne, but it’s one of the few to show working-class people that I am aware of.
Libroration
I think Ada Palmer and Sue Burke might be two of the few human beings alive who understand the possible non-extinction futures humanity is likely heading towards.
Read the Terra Ignota series by Palmer and the Semiosis duology by Burke if you have not to get a glimpse of these likely futures.
Dyppy
I’m not sure exactly which dystopia it is where you get advertised Amazon warehouse jobs while pumping gas…
But it definitely is one pic.twitter.com/NAjV8hQbTjโ foone (@Foone) November 22, 2019
It’s a Stephensonian dystopia, because the progressives want us to live in pods while working horrifically inhuman gigs to “save the earth,” ร la Snow Crash. Though I don’t particularly care for that novel (it’s trying way too hard), that’s our dystopia and it’s getting worse.
Nerfed
I think this is pretty much perfect & basically Boomers played on a pre-release patch in which your ingame currency rewards for simple actions were absurdly generous compared to the grind needed today. Theyโre like โjust do your daily quests, shake the managerโs hand.โ
— R.ะกะฐะผ 🦋🐏🍂 (@Logo_Daedalus) November 21, 2019
Good analogy. Boomers (especially white ones) played with the difficulty set on “Super Easy” and now are tetchy that others get upset that newer generations are forced to play on “Ultra Hard” mode. They don’t realize, despite being told a million times, that the difficulty level has changed at all. “Just beat the street, show up and demand a job” is their advice. Ok, boomer, good way to get arrested for harassment and trespassing.
Don’t Wait, Weight
You are not middle-aged yet unless sitting in an awkward position on a cold morning leads to stabbing pain when you stand up and the inability to move or walk. Itโs official Iโm Fred Sanford

Lift weights. That kinda shit happens a lot less often then.
Digit
Terminator 3 looks great in 4K better than Genisys for some reason
โ Chad Hominem (@PrettyBadLefty) November 21, 2019
Terminator 3 was filmed with Panavision Panaflex Platinum cameras and Panavision Primo Primes spherical lenses on 35mm film. Was unable to discover what type of film, exactly.
Genisys was filmed largely on ARRI Alexa cameras, which are digital, and a wide variety of other digital cameras of varying quality (with some film cameras used when the digital couldn’t handle the shooting environment).
This is why Terminator 3 looks better than Genisys. Those Panavision Panaflex and Pana lenses are amazing. The ARRI Alexa and various other cameras are ok to bad, and digital in general is much flatter.
Onchocerca volvulus
Protesting a sandwich store over their unwoke choice of charity, and considering it a win when they chose an alternative, is the worst case of neolib activistism brain rot imaginable.

And people say neoliberalism isn’t real, but it’s managed to insert itself into our very psyches at a deep, perhaps ineradicable, level. There is no greater evidence than this absolutely sterile, Taylorist clincal interaction with a friend.
Anyone who speaks with you or about you this way is not your friend. Perhaps you are one another’s co-widgets, but definitely not friends. It sounds more transactional than most office conversations I’ve had.
Perhaps the hell world we’ve created deserves to be cleansed.
Ration
Devastated to read that Sydney University has decided not to fill the Chair of Australian Literature until a sponsor pays for it. This is one of two [!] dedicated chairs of Australian Literature in this country, both of which are now empty. #austlit https://t.co/SppphoqVGV
— Dr Christina Spittel (@ChSpittel) October 15, 2019
The destruction and diminution is imperative for the neoliberal project to succeed. If there is no non-corporate media, there is no critique. No critique, and it’s harder for society to reject the neoliberal order. Partially this is desperation. Partially it is as near as conspiracy as one can get without actual meetings of cabals and the like — just the rich and the powerful looking out for themselves.
Veg In
Vegans and vegetarians are almost always physically weaker looking and sickly
no lean body mass and low energy
And when they do gain weight, they have immense abdominal obesity
Skinny fat basically https://t.co/pOLdHyVmod
— Alexander J.A Cortes (@AJA_Cortes) November 20, 2019
Indeed. It is possible to be a vegetarian (but not a vegan) and not appear to be ever on the verge of death, but it takes careful diet management. While being a vegan it’s basically impossible. Every vegan I’ve ever seen looked corpse-like and had poor muscularity. The only exceptions are people who had recently become vegan or who cheated frequently.
Cheat Code
It’s better being smart than not, but I hate how every test I take in my life I have to worry about being accused of cheating, or being flagged for review, because I finish them so damn fast.
Yes, I did the whole test. No, I didn’t cheat. No, I don’t need to review my answers. Yes, I am sure.ย I know it only took me seven minutes and it’s supposed to take two hours. โ Things I have said a million times.

I messaged a friend a few weeks ago that since it looked like Biden would be a bust, the establishment was likely to get behind Buttigieg. Alas, it seems that I was correct.
I usually like being right. Not this time. That vapid, vacant piece of shit shouldn’t be assistant manager of a fucking McDonald’s (as that job actually take skill and savvy), and might actually be worse than Biden.
Proper
This is the immense power of propaganda. It can change the way people think and feel about something without their even having a conceptual framework for why they experience those thoughts and feelings. https://t.co/v8Xh6BRtVb
— Caitlin Johnstone ⏳ (@caitoz) November 20, 2019
This is how propaganda works best. Low- to no-facts people (which most are) steered into mood affiliation with a pervasive, low-level but constant effort over a fairly long time (2-3 years at least).
It’s also why I have doubts the so-called Russian propaganda in the West did much. There just was not much of it relative to the volume of other messages, it wasn’t well-targeted, and didn’t last long enough.

All used in the last 24 hours. I will give up desktop software when you pry it from my cold, dead hands, as it is far less likely to steal all your data, is often a hundred times faster, and just works correctly (mostly), unlike web garbage.
I can and do multiply my productivity over others immensely by not falling prey to the “convenience” of BS slow data-thieving cloud crap.
