She doesn’t look 70 at all. Sure, she has money, and that helps. But she looks about 50. Biden looks about 900. Sanders only looks about 800.

They should have a deadlift showdown on stage. Now that’d be something.

Lately, I’ve looked at houses just so I could discover the weird and pointless word salads people have painted or framed on their walls. You know, goofy stuff like, “Live. Laugh. Love.” and that sort of pap.

I now call it pseudoaisthograpy. Greek roots. Means “false emotion writing.”

It’s a sickness, I admit.

My workouts in the past 24 hours (in two phases):

Phase I:

• 30 overhand pull-ups (bodyweight)
• 105 push-ups (bodyweight)
• 24 isolation curls with 80 pounds
• 30 flat dumbbell presses with 45 pounds in each hand (90 pounds total)
• 60 bench dips (bodyweight)

Phase II:

• 30 lunges with 45 pound dumbbells in each hand (90 pounds total)
• 30 goblet squats with 45 pound dumbbell
• 30 leg curls with 105 pounds
• 60 weighted crunches with 20 pound dumbbell
• 210 scissor kicks (bodyweight)

In case anyone is wondering what I am doing to get the results that I am seeing. I usually work out with my partner. Each workout takes about an hour or so when we do them together. Some days take longer — deadlift and bench press days are the lengthier ones, taking maybe an hour and a half.

I know. This, among many other causes, has led me to abandoning identification with and expression of “progressive” thought. Seeing people flagellate themselves and rend their clothes, moaning about Trump’s election being the worst day of their lives has been infuriating. Many of these people were alive on 9/11 and around for the Iraq war in 2003, which were both far larger tragedies. Even Obama’s abandonment of the middle class and embrace of the banksters was far worse than anything Trump has done (though his tax cut for the rich comes close).

Though I don’t support the impeachment of Trump mainly because then we’ll get Mike Pence, I do support the idea in principle. However, Bush. Jr. and Obama should’ve also been impeached as both were war criminals as well.

People (mainly idiot progressives) see Trump as some sort of abnormality, some sort of divergence from the norm. However, the sturm und drang associated with Trump is the new normal around the world.

There are no systems thinkers in the media or in the progressive camp, so both have no clue at all what’s going on and probably never will.

We need those new minds. So far, I see scant evidence that enough of them are being created to matter.

This song is essentially uncoverable. Or so I thought. But they do a more than respectable job with it, and the vocals are great. It’s a nice touch taking such a masculine song and having a very feminine woman do it up like she means it.

What I always liked about RHCP when I listened to them is that they are unafraid of sex being primal and wild, but were also not misogynistic (though in the modern, wrong sense, they would probably be seen that way). Modern “progressives” treat sex either like clinicians or think it should be regulated sharply, though in different ways than conservatives. But the song is about more than sex and has a quite cool story behind it.

Also, that’s a nice five-string bass.

I like the unfussy athleticism of the dancers and skaters, how this video by its very existence stands against the puritanical prudishness of this “progressive” era. And it’s just fun.

Also, it’s shot beautifully, both in technique, lighting and equipment. I’ve had no luck finding what sort of gear the video was shot on, but I did in the process of that search discover this interview with Candice Heiden, the main roller skater in the video.

We still use a toaster that was bought for $7 in Target in 2005. It’s lasted 14 years and has toasted bread in 9 different houses.
