Perhaps the comfortable people who have health care in the US and don't support M41A need to be forced to go watch some people die because of lack of healthcare.

I’d support this; most people aren’t psychopaths, just solipsists and dumbasses, so this would be an effective mechanism to convince more and those not convinced would at least suffer a bit.
