That is pretty awesome. For obvious reasons, infrastructure designed for bikes only can be much, much lighter than that designed for cars. That should mean the construction costs are about 1/4 to 1/8 that of a road designed to support up to tractor-trailers.
Possible future: Europe destroys itself with open borders, China then essentially runs the remains, US retreats into isolationism admixed with nationalism, Africa rises as contestant for dominion with China. (India is abandoned due to climate change, so no longer a player.)

Yes, great acting. Christopher Reeve is the only one who has ever shown how a pair of dorky glasses could work as a disguise — because it’s not about the glasses. Those are just a prop for Superman’s/Clark Kent’s own benefit, to remind him who he is (or is not) when the glasses are on.
The actual disguise is every single thing about him is completely different when he’s Clark Kent. The glasses are merely an affordance for easily inhabiting that character.
This is what always happens:
1. Establishment aligned pundits/ pundit brain sufferers openly scoff that something objectively fishy is happening
2. It becomes even more glaringly obvious that something fishy is happening

I’ve noticed this, too. Supposedly, conspiracies are impossible when in reality among aligned groups soft and hard conspiracies occur all the time.
For instance:
Iraq War (2003 Edition)
Iran-Contra
Soviet Union infiltration of Manhattan Project
Watergate Scandal
Plame Affair
And that’s only the ones we know about. In general, around 100-1000x as many crimes occur as are actually ever reported and/or discovered and that’s probably true of conspiracies as well.

We did something a little different yesterday for our workout. Instead of the usual five or so exercises for 3-5 sets of 10 reps, we did only two exercises for 10 sets, 10 reps — that’s 100 reps of each exercise.
Though I have not done that specifically in 20+ years, it wasn’t that bad. We did incline bench dumbbell press and shorty bar curls. Was a good workout.

It’s actual incompetence used to mask ill intent. Perfect cover both for avoiding blame in the legal and non-legal senses. This technique has been used often in history and we’re seeing it here again.

I have no idea what happened in Bolivia, but I know right now some shenanigans are occurring. Bernie won big, but in the end he won’t have. This is our “democracy” in action.
