The potency of mask politics became clear this week in Orange County, where the health officer resigned after weeks of attacks — and a death threat — over her mandatory mask rules. Her replacement on Thursday rescinded the rules.

Face masks don’t even have to work especially well to be effective.

I think a large part of the liberal attempt to deny the reality of biological sex is that if they can convince people that bio sex does not exist, then they can obviously make people buy anything at all, no matter how outrageous.

It’s like 1984‘s 2+2 = 5. If you can really, truly and deeply believe that, then it proves that you will accept anything at all.

Oh, thought of something else funny. One of my sister’s friends took one half-second look at my nose and said, “I can tell you used to be a scrapper.”

She was not wrong.

To be clear, I’m not insecure about my broken nose at all. If I could get it made perfect instantly and with no pain or cost, I absolutely would not.

It’s my badge of where I came from and what I endured to be where I am and who I am.
