Seeing middle aged women being low key bitches to other, often younger women in our field reminds me why I don’t support all these girl power group efforts. They’re mostly ego trips for women needing validation and not ways of bringing more women into political risk.

I’ve never seen men treat women as badly as I’ve seen women mistreat other women in the workplace, especially in competitive roles.

Not saying men treating women poorly doesn’t happen. It does. But women, especially older women, really brutalize younger women on the job, especially if they are attractive. That older women now have more power in the workplace I think also largely explains why workplace dating is moving toward prohibition — it eliminates dating market competition from these younger women.
