The primary and defining experiences of most men’s lives is rejection and the vast apathy of the universe towards you, while the primary experiences of most women’s lives is constant demands combined with no rewards.
Which is better?

How the rioters who stormed the Capitol came dangerously close to Pence.
Huh, that was closer than I thought. They were almost fast enough.
Georgia confirms what Iโve learned from decades of doing voting rights work. Voter fraud is not the problem, itโs voter suppression. Republicans use made-up allegations of fraud as an excuse to prevent eligible citizens who they suspect are Democrats from voting. https://t.co/FyEEbHU3un

That’s where the real voting fraud is. And it’s going to get worse.
excellent point! TV writers write spec scripts for currently-running shows, then shop those scripts around to similar genre shows
that's how you get gigs https://t.co/gHhkVERIwa

Yep! It’s not magic. It’s a production process like anything else. Quite often, scripts are written for one show or movie, and then adapted into an altogether different show or film. This happens all the time.
In other words, it’s fanfic all the way down. The reason it was besmirched is because fanfic as we currently think of it was mostly produced by women in our recent cultural history.
In the past, it was produced by nearly everyone as just how culture proceeded.
If you believe this data, the US has eleven times more retail space per capita than Germany!

I believe it. When I was in Germany, I was like, Where all the stores be at?
I’m used to seeing a broken-down strip mall around ever corner. A Wal-Mart. A Kohl’s or Dillard’s. A Dollar General. Or something. But in Germany that’s just not the case. There’s a shopping area or two, and the Hauptstraรe, and that’s all.
It’s much better, I admit. But it also feels a bit disorienting.
Jokes on you. I wasn't planning on leaving my house for the rest of my life anyway. pic.twitter.com/RRuvIJl0oP

I expect stay-at-home orders and lockdowns to last years. The powerful and the plutes have seen how effective they are (though not for controlling the pandemic), and how easily people accept them.
Lesson learned, and it won’t be forgotten.
This gives me hope for the future. Beautiful. https://t.co/R2Sw0abRbX

Good for them. Lockdown now has nothing to do with the virus.
If $15/hr min wage bothers you because it's more/ the same or "too close to" what you're making, direct that anger to your bosses who are underpaying you, not to other people who are also underpaid.

Don’t fall for the capitalist trap of dividing workers against other slightly-better-treated workers.
My beautiful mum passed away today from #COVID, after only 5 days. She was 51. I was lucky to be allowed onto critical care and hold her hand to the end. Please retweet this to ensure others stay safe and take this virus bloody seriously.

Damn, that fake pandemic sure is killing a lot of people. Amazing. Not sure how it feels, dying of a hoax, but some anti-maskers are trying hard to find out and making sure the rest of us will too.
‘Iโm facing a prison sentence’: US Capitol rioters plead with Trump for pardons.
Aww, poor babies. Don’t do coups and this won’t happen. Or, do coups, then be prepared to accept the consequences. Even if you are very, very stupid.
According to many libs, though, that means you wana killa gramma. And why do you want to kill gramma, gramma-killer? Huh?
Wow.
