Coronavirus shutdowns have quashed nearly all other common viruses. But scientists say a rebound is coming.

I wonder if this is what will be used as the excuse for the next wave of lockdowns after most people are vaccinated against the current threat, or they’ll just stick with that Covid is still a risk?
