This is what we realized when we started looking at more expensive houses. Even $2 million and up homes are made with the same shoddy matchstick and EFS construction as the cheapest apartment. They are all the same, with very rare exception.
In this country, we just do not care how anything looks or is built. As long as it makes some rich disphit money and is “productive,” we just slap it together and hope for the best.
