Got my first vaccine shot today. It was the Moderna one as expected. Shoulder is a bit sore, but the after-effects are so mild I still worked out (legs and abs) seven hours later.

Anyone who doesn’t get vaccinated is a chump who is also harming the rest of us. Double-chump, then.

This reminds me of remotely supporting a guy who was known for viewing and having porn on his work computer. Very tolerant company, so not my business.

I needed to have him install the remote control software we used, which was TeamViewer. So I told him, “Ok, in your browser, go to teamviewer.com and download the file there.”

He said, “Teen Viewer?

And I said, “No, Ray, TEAM Viewer. We definitely do not want Teen Viewer.”

Hmm. I got him sorted. Glad I rarely had to touch his keyboard, though.

I could not find anything for the IFR of influenza broken down by age, or I would’ve included it. Bottom line is if you’re under 30, the IFR of Covid-19 is very, very low, probably about matching influenza though strangely I cannot find good data on that as noted. But if you’re 70 and over, dang, you got problems if you get Covid.
