The few people who have asked me brainteasers in interviews were such obvious assclowns that it’s clear I wouldn’t have wanted to work in those places anyway.

That’s the way my views have shifted as well. I used to be somewhat of a degrowther. But the evidence doesn’t support that and it won’t even help.

Degrowth means the early death of billions. We don’t have to play it like that. Anyway, most degrowth prattle is just an excuse for libs to have orgasms over all the stuff they will have to take away from everyone.

It’s no formal conspiracy of course, but there is a liberal near-obsession of cataloging all the things they will be forced — just forced, I tell you! — to take away from us all in the name of “the environment.”

Wanting to compel us to live like Coptic Christian 9th Century monks out in the Egyptian desert won’t actually help the environment, of course, but it sure is a hell a lot easier than taming corporations or gestating some positive, aspirational plan for the future of humanity. That’s why the constant drumbeat of these individualized solutions that do nothing to alter the status quo.

Expect much more of this as the propaganda effort spins up to full speed, along with more talk of eating bugs, living in pods, and never traveling or even going outside, etc.
