No Art

That’s because it’s godawful stultifying, boring, and anti-creative. Social justice for some reason came to be all about what you can’t say, can’t do, can’t transgress, or explore, or ask questions about. No great art came directly out of the Spanish Inquisition either, and there’s a very similar reason for that.

Matric

โ€œPeople always learn what they have to, what is appropriate to their environment. Han, you grew up in a culture which has schools for general purpose and schools for every conceivable subclassification of data, but they do not as a rule spread knowledge or wisdomโ€”just assemblies of data. As you have them, schools work on your society just like the differentiating fashions in clothes your sexes use, and hair styles as wellโ€”they obscure the innate differences, muddy them, make everyone equal, but it is the equality of a faรงade. People really are different from one another. And schools obscure the only kinds of knowledge worth knowing.โ€

Raise It Up

This has been clear for a long time, but nice to see yet more confirmations. I have seen some credible literature that in the worst/least productive markets, there are some diminished jobs, and this is of course bad for these people and should be considered.

However, raising minimum wage is a huge net win for everyone nearly everywhere.

Pod Shot

As for that last tweet, that bit of foot-shooting will be responsible for how many hundreds of thousands of deaths that didn’t have to happen? You can blame the anti-maskers and anti-vaxxers (and I do), but the (mostly) liberals with the above and their, “Even after the vaccine, if you go outside with a bare face or hug anyone or even look happy, you have killed ALL THE GRAMMAS!” bear a lot of responsibility too.

Gaol

Lots of countries are essentially becoming prisons to “deal with Covid.” Of course it has nothing to do with Covid, really.

Slip

Here is the first push of the lockdown lifers, a real attempt to start up the precursors of the living-in-pods-and-eating-bugs existence of which many liberals dream (mainly for others).

You think I exaggerate, but Covid-19 restrictions (as the article itself even admits) opened the way for this, and oh yeah, there’s gonna be way more of it coming down the pike.

Which color pod would you like? (Just kidding; they’re all gray.)

Socio Path Walking

I was thinking the same thought yesterday, and how angry the “hoax pandemic” and anti-masker, anti-vaxxer idiots make me. It’s just a complete unconcern with other people’s lives.

Pol Work

Yeah, what the fuck. I don’t really want my racist uncle anti-masker anti-vaxxer to say a fucking peep about politics at work. I don’t want to know, don’t have any interest in that being brought up in the workplace. That sort of talk occurring at work doesn’t help anyone.

The left always assumes they’ll be on the advantaged side of an issue, as they did with censorship. They are wrong, and obviously so, but it’s also kind of funny how clueless they are about how this will play out in reality.
