It is obvious now, looking at BC, Quebec and across the U.S. that we were wrong to close schools, except perhaps at the very height of the April wave.

I’ve got no dog in this fight, but I agree. School closures were devastatingly detrimental to millions of kids who would only be little-harmed by Covid. The mental health effects will last decades.

No one asked me & I promised myself I wouldn't dip into the discourse, but if you think centralized trigger/content warnings won't affect books you have no understanding of how badly the film rating system in the US has affected American films in meaningful and devastating ways.
