I knew this was coming! But luckily probably not in the US. But in many other countries, probably so.
The allure of lockdown and penitent asceticism is just too strong to let it slip away.
I was watching French film trailers earlier and found this one. Can you imagine this being made in North America? People would lose their fucking minds! Libs would go so apeshit ragefest they’d blast off to the moon.
That said, I’m not sure the film actually looks good. I’ll give it a shot and if it doesn’t hook me in the first 15 minutes, I’ll move on to something else. (It’s a remake of an older film, by the way.)
Tonight, I am getting YouTube ads in Hindi and Spanish. Simple Spanish like in ads I can mostly understand if it’s not too fast. But Hindi…not a damn chance.
I knew Delta was going to be the excuse to attempt to herd us all back inside and to preserve prison countries so the plutes could hoard all available wealth. I was talking with some friends about how the liberal side was moving to the idea that the vaccines don’t work. They both were skeptical, but the idea that the vaccines are useless particularly against the Delta variant is now becoming more and more common. In a few months, I predict it’ll become mainstream in lib circles that the vaccines have failed.
