That’s true. It won’t be enough (most likely) to have any real evolutionary effect, but it’s absolutely likely to swing close elections since so many Trumpists/Republicans are dying in comparison to non-Trumpists.

This is hilarious. The whole fucking point of sleep/hibernate/standby is that you don’t have to turn your laptop off all the time, and that your work is just there when you open it. And now these ridiculous assclowns have even broken that in their never-ending quest to remove user control.

Guess it won’t be long before the screen of any device you’re using is streamed non-optionally to some sort of horribly unreliable fake AI to make sure you aren’t doing anything you shouldn’t be doing. And people will embrace this because it’ll be framed as “for their own good” and to “protect the children.”

We deserve the dystopia we’re going to get.
