The general rule I’ve found is that people absolutely love to harm kids to “protect” them. It’s quite a few people’s main hobby.

Yeah, that was terrible messaging from the CDC. Totally destructive. There seems to be a war within that agency between the lockdown lifers and those more realistic and practical.
Almost all of the time when parents lie to “protect” kids, it’s really to protect the parent and their interests.
The main problem I have with the stance of anti-geoengineering is that we’re already geoengineering — just in the wrong direction.

So fucking terrible and moronic. A laptop is basically unusable now unless you carry around a separate device that is easy to misplace, lose, or just not have with you. I would love to punch every motherfucker in the face who had anything to do with this.
It’s been just so disappointing to have computers get so much worse as the technology supposedly got better. Functionality-wise computers have regressed to where they were in the mid-1980s. Which ain’t great. But as I’ve noted before, the huge elite project now is regaining control of information and information-manipulating capabilities once again. This is all part of it.

I am definitely more vain than I used to be. It’s easier to be vain when you look better, isn’t it?
Anyway, I try to keep it in check; in the end it’s all fleeting. Where I’m going with this though is that when one of my overseas friends — who is a total extroverted sweetheart — greets me on FaceTime, she almost always says, “You look so handsome!” And you know what, I’ll take it. No one ever told me anything like that when I was young. Quite the opposite.
I don’t know what she sees. Who knows what anyone sees when they look at another of us strange monkeys? But I know she means it and that my world is better because she’s in it.
