โNoom claims that if you can just change your thoughts, youโll be able to resist the urge to eat certain foods. But that doesnโt acknowledge how human biology works. We are not supposed to try to override our hunger drive. Thatโs the major nuance that Noom is missing.โ

This is total BS. How this person thinks human biology works has nothing to do with how human biology actually works. And anyway, who gives a fuck! I’ll override whatever I want whenever I want to. I’m the one in control here. I’ll override my goddamn need to breathe if I decide to. I drive this train.
Why resolve to be weak and wallow in your loserdom?
One of the very strangest things the pitiful-ass Fat Acceptance movement has propagandized the rest of culture into believing is that you go into “starvation mode” if you experience the slightest hunger and that it’s some sort of metabolic and personal tragedy that a single hunger pang occurs.
We’ll never conquer the fucking galaxy with these mammering hedgeborn ratsbanes.
