Indeed. I had to argue with MBAs about that recently. As usual, they were wrong. Multi-cloud is a terrible strategy unless you have 3x the staff to actually use any of the distinguishing features of each provider (which you very much fucking should!). Azure, AWS and GCP are not the same, and you can’t just write some generic Terraform and toss it out there.

This does not work, and to the extent that it does work, it doesn’t help you.
