The “debate” around overpopulation is so senseless. Both sides are just talking past one another. Of course the planet is overpopulated; there are way too many of us and far too few resources.

And of course we can’t really do anything about it, as almost all of those paths are bad. So we’re stuck. Both sides are right and wrong and as is a human universal, both are idiots in their own special way.
