Australia’s reopening plans in doubt after Omicron cases.
It’s nice to see more people being resistant to prison countries and reflexive lockdowns. Need much more of this.

U.S. should be prepared to do “anything,” including lockdowns, to fight Omicron.
Ok, Fauci, go back to bed now. You’re getting tired.
The year is 2072. Feminism and radical Islam have merged. All words, art and sex have been deemed “offensive” and people communicate with guttural grunts and slapping one another.
Those who don’t, won’t or can’t buy into this are executed “for their own good,” though of course that’s more vague grunts.
How Typing Commands Became The Norm Again.
This is terrible and I hate it everyhwere I’ve experienced it. I need a FUCKING MENU. I don’t have the capability to remember a million commands in dozens of applications.
Inside me are two wolves. They’re both awesome and love pizza.

Which sexual relationship pair has the greatest power imbalance?
— Aella (@Aella_Girl) September 26, 2021
Oh, it’s by far the latter. By very, very far. The others would really vary depending on the people involved. But the 150/85 IQ relationship is going to have a huge, insurmountable and vast power imbalance, always.
I see why people have trouble finding information now (which is the whole point). Using a normal people browser, like Chrome or Firefox, with a normal people search engine, like Google, you only find and can only use exactly what the corporate masters want you to find and just about nothing else.
I still use a working browser most of the time (Waterfox) with working extensions and such, so I am much less restricted and constricted.
But when I use a “modern” and “secure”* browser, it all turns to shit.
*Secure from you.
God I hope not.
This is related to a lot of other things I’ve been pondering over the last few years, but the obvious reason we reach for lockdowns first — and adopt something so readily from an authoritarian country — is that we have all gone authoritarian over the last few decades. It’s just who we are now. You can see it in our software, in our systems, in the design of our everyday environments. Authoritarianism is all we understand and it is the terrible thing we’ve become.
We are all little Mussolinis now, strutting around imperiously, convinced we know best and that everyone else is too childlike to make their own decisions.

NYC doesn't require vaccination, but makes it very hard to participate in public life without one. Hence the adult vax rate is nearing 90% and COVID mortality rate is very low. pic.twitter.com/l4m8OLVJJo

That is how you do it. Not these fucking moronic lockdowns and prison country bullshittery.
To me, as someone who doesn’t really give a fuck one way or another, a lot of trans ideology seems to be a way for men to muscle their way back into women-specific spaces, and take them over again.
If I’m wrong, I haven’t seen any real evidence of that. This doesn’t mean “trans people bad” blah blah blah, it’s just the usual: fanatics who want something specific take over, and do what they do.
The rich and corporations aren’t going to let this pandemic go so easily; companies are making record profits and the rich have more wealth than ever, and it is growing by disgusting amounts daily.
So expect the calls for more restrictions, lockdowns, abridgements of rights and privileges to come as a result of the new variant, and any future ones (real or imagined) — all fully reinforced by the liberal lapdogs who want us in the pods hidden away from the world, but for different reasons.
