It's not clear, and it depends on how long COVID is defined, but maybe 10-20% of diagnosed cases, if Omicron is same as previous strains. That's potentially a LOT.

No. Omicron will not have nearly the Long Covid rates as Delta and earlier variants. Iโd guess about 90% fewer.
Even โLong Covidโ will turn out to be โMedium Covidโ for most cases. The vast majority of people will recover fully in a year or two, as is the case with โLong Flu.โ I think โLong Covidโ is real, but not nearly as bad as folks want it to be.
