Of mainstream OSes, I think Windows 98SE had the best and most usable UI/UX, followed closely by Windows 7. Most of the rest are utter trash, especially Windows 11, which feels like using Windows 3.11 in a lot of ways.
Of the non-mainstream OSes, BeOS had the best UI ever. I miss BeOS so much.

But regarding Ryan’s tweet, I think this individual shaming is where the left is largely going and yes, that will fail. And if it does not we’ll be in a world of hurt.

As a commenter points out, that is indeed rule #1 of tech support: the user is always lying. It might be unintentional (often it is completely intentional), but they are lying.

I think it’s a great idea. Should have been doing this from ~six months after vaccines became available. If not deny altogether, put them as the very lowest priority for care, behind elective surgeries etc. (No, “elective” probably does not mean what you think it means.)
The deliberately unvaccinated made a dumb choice and sometimes people should pay for that, especially when it harms others.
How does Omicron spread so fast? A high viral load isn’t the answer.
