I think about that almost every day. “Obvious” ideas aren’t. We’ve not nearly discovered everything yet, despite what you’ve been told, nor have we made use of the things we have discovered well or correctly.

In many, many ways we’re still those paleolithic hominins bashing things with a rock for a near-eternity, not even considering that we could tie a stick to that rock and have a far superior tool.
