In The Pudding

Mozillaโ€™s privacy-heavy browser is flatlining but still crucial to future of the web.

They couldโ€™ve been a real competitor, but killed off their advantages one by one because they โ€œhad to,โ€ they claimed, to compete.

Well, hereโ€™s the proof that this reasoning was BS: they didnโ€™t compete. The shot themselves in the foot repeatedly, and in the face, and did the exact things people like me told them was going to cause the very problems they are experiencing. The argument that what they did to cripple the browser was necessary is now prima facie incorrect because it only hurt them and helped them not even a little.

Bozo explosion occurred there, and there is no recovering from that.
