I think that PMC libs (which are the majority these days, and the ones with any influence) see sex as always an exercise of power because that is how they use it and mainly why they have sex. It’s never about pleasure or blowing off steam for them, or if it is, that is at most a tertiary concern. No — the PMCs have sex primarily to assert or solidify power and so they simply can’t understand why anyone else would do it for any other reason.
