LOL. But RUSSIA IS DOING GREAT. They got this.
Pathetic Russian army. pic.twitter.com/NrJ2RjPBcq

Ian Welsh says they’re doing brilliantly, though. Total overperformance. It’s obvious. What a dipshit.
This morning, @British_Airways touched down at #SydneyAirport for the first time in two years!
Itโs terrific to welcome the airline back to SYD as it resumes one of the most iconic routes in international aviation (London-Sydney).

Lockdown lifers and travel-hating libs are hating it. Me, I’m loving it. It’s about time.
So much this. Obscure problem related to the dock that you cannot for the life of you figure out? Firmware update will probably fix it and it takes like 2 minutes
— Andreas (@andyhoan) March 29, 2022
Yep. I’ve fixed issue people have been having for years by updating the firmware on their laptop docks, issues people have gone to their helpdesks repeatedly for and no one could solve. Even most IT people don’t know you can and should update docking station firmware.
Quote from one of the people that I did this for a few years ago: “You’ve solved a problem that people, including me, have spent hundreds of hours on. In 10 minutes.”
I am indeed that good.
Prediabetes has more than doubled among American children.
Fat Acceptance nuts and food company execs are high-fiving in celebration.
It was heartbreaking to visit Portland, Ore., on my last and recent trip.
I've never witnessed street persons in living conditions like this.
All across Portland this is a common sight now.
How did America get to this point?

I don’t think it’s quite sunk in yet, but a lot of American cities are going downhill fast. And it’s going to get worse.
(And no, I don’t mean by the presence of homeless people. I mean that it’s obvious that the pandemic and related closures/restrictions made a lot of cities just decide they could give up on providing vital public services, so they stopped doing so. And this shows no signs of reversing.)
Hey ya’ll, remember a few years ago when I and others were told we we “crazy” for claiming that anyone would need enough bandwidth to download a game this large, and that “250GB is enough for anyone” as paid and unpaid shills lined up left and right to defend ISP caps?
Well, I remember. I wonder how it feels to be so fucking clueless? I pray I never get to experience that.
I should set up a “Artistic Certification Society” or something that would vouch that you’ve created an artistic work (book, film, comic, whatever) that is only about someone just like you in every way.
Good way to scam some libs, if I weren’t lazy.
I’m surprised I haven’t caught Covid, honestly. My precautions of late have been avoiding — mostly — people spitting directly into my mouth. Other than that it’s been whatevs.
Of course it is possible that I did have Covid but it was asymptomatic altogether. That’s why I got vaccinated.
And into the late 1970s. I remember 'em. https://t.co/IsgerFPEgQ

These were available in the US until at least the late 1980s. My dad used to buy them for me sometimes. There was also candy chewing tobacco. Had that occasionally, too.
A contrarian view from @iwelsh : The Ukraine war may be going pretty well for Russia. Russia went in with a 1:3 troop disadvantage, suggesting they never meant to occupy and hold the country. https://t.co/Wdo9BlmMxC

This is absolute bullshit. If there were a way to be any more wrong, I’m not sure what it could be. Ian Welsh is a total fucking idiot who just knows not the first thing about this. What Russia intended to do was to move in quickly, decapitate the government, take Kyiv in a couple of weeks at most and then most of the larger cities. If they had done that, they would’ve controlled Ukraine.
They failed. It was an ambitious plan they could not execute and that’s just the way it is in war sometimes. Ukraine’s supposed 600K troops is irrelevant and not even really correct (except on paper).
I wonder how it feels, mindlessly repeating Russian propaganda? And not even being paid for it. If I’m gonna be spouting Russian talking points, some $$ (not fucking rubles) better be appearing in my bank account.

Watching things like this, I do not understand people. First, driving like that in such obviously hazardous conditions…why?
And the mook who is just standing there by his car in the middle of the fucking road when it’s obvious exactly what he did and what the tracto-trailer did is likely to occur again. I do not understand. Bet there’s a good chance at least one of the clueless losers here is someone who believes society should be closed forever for “safety” against Covid.
People are fucking terrible at assessing risk.
