Given Poland’s history with Russia this fear is justified. Still, the likelihood of Russia invading Poland in the near future is about nil. Logistically, Russia could not undertake this given their current military situation and if they did, NATO would be in the war. This is not something Russia wants or could handle militarily witout the use of nuclear weapons.
