Yep. It’s an Mi-8MT specifically. Can tell because the tail rotor is on the port side (among other things).

Between their tanks’ autoloaders, the insane internal arsenal of the BMP-3 and the the tendency of SPGs to spontaneously become Daisy Cutters it really seems like the whole Russian Army is built with red barrels. https://t.co/swxghmIWWu

Looks like the whole internal arsenal exploded. A Javelin or NLAW alone won’t do that. That’s tons of steel that got tossed around. Catastrophic kill indeed.
A usage quibble. The atrocities in Ukraine are not "alleged," they're "apparent." We have photographic evidence of civilians being executed. Perhaps our understanding of what occurred will change with a better understanding of the facts, but the pictures are not mere allegations.

Our journalism is terrible, and getting worse. Most journalists are so eager to “both sides” everything, they’ll even do that for obvious atrocities and violations of human rights right in front of them.
I’m reading Neuroanatomy through Clinical Cases (3rd edition) by Hal Blumenfeld.
What are y’all reading?
You can maintain strength and muscle with ONE brief workout a week, taking single sets to failure
thats all you need to be doing

Yep. I think this is something that most people don’t realize about getting fit: after you get fit, it takes very little work to maintain it. For most people if you actually work out hard when you do hit the weights, it only takes around 10% to maintain what it took to get there.
So if you work out like I do three days on and then a day off, you can change that to maybe once every 10 days if you want, depending on your genetics. Once a week would be safer, though, and would be what I have to do (poor genetics).
It takes a lot to get fit, but very little to maintain it once you get there. I wish they told more normies this because I believe that most of them think you have to work out as hard as I do for life to maintain it. And you simply do not.
Interesting thread from Aella that shows that women have a completely different set of problems than men in the sexual/dating realm.
Essentially, she’s looking for someone that doesn’t and will never exist. And she kind of knows that because she has a lot of self-insight. However, like most women, she’s unable to self-correct.
Basically, she’s looking for a top 0.0001% guy who’s also rich and single, and who is as intelligent as she is, and as facile with language and thought, and in her age range or a bit older. Friends and neighbors, that dude has been married since he’s 25, and has no interest in Aella at all, given her history and neuroticism. (And I say that as someone who likes her a lot.) Hell, I have no interest sexually in Aella, and would not have sex with her for love or money even if she wanted me to, even though I’m quite sure she’d not be interested in me anyway! She’s attractive but I am not attracted to her is what I mean.
She is the extreme case of how most women think about this, and why they are “lonely” despite swimming in a an enormous sea of choices. It will probably never get better for her, alas. She’ll always want someone who doesn’t exist. A lot of attractive women fall into this self-trap.
The Supply Chain Crisis Is About to Get a Lot Worse.
Inflation about to surge too. I notice all the “transitory” mooks have finally shut the fuck up.

Indeed. Don’t care much for the play, but that is some of Shakespeare’s best.
They're casually ignoring 99% of men. They don't think those men are good enough, so they don't count as men.
If three hundred men hit on a woman in one night, but she doesn't think they're attractive, she will walk away complaining that zero men hit on her

Have seen this in person. 100% truth.
Adorable mistake on live interview.
Oh my god, she reminds me so much of my girlfriend in the army who was, as I’ve mentioned before, a total adorable ditz. Different color hair, but same mannerisms and same wild confidence while being just hilariously wrong.
