Yeah, Marine le Pen is only to the right of French communists from the 1960s.

But if you want to know why the global elite really oppose her, it’s not racism. These are the actual reasons.

She supports economic nationalism, the separation of investment and retail banking, and energy diversification, and is opposed to the privatization of public services and social security, speculation on international commodity markets, and is opposed to the Common Agricultural Policy.

I would likely vote for le Pen over Macron were I French. Macron is a full-on neoliberal and wants to take away anything that actually helps French people, and he will willingly remove anything that is a barrier for global capital to strip the French state bare.

The best advice on diet, working out, and learning most things is this: quit being a wimp and take control of your own shit.

But no one likes to hear that, and libs really hate it, so it never wins out. The army was pretty good about teaching me that, though. And it absolutely works.

There would be prejudice and discrimination in any case against trans people, but I betcha the trans cause would be doing a whole hell of a lot better if a large portion of trans supporters hadn’t spent a decade claiming that there’s no such thing as biology, and that it’s perfectly fine to destroy women’s sports for “equality.”

I know that lost them a lot of my support, and nearly everyone I’ve talked to about it will admit the same thing privately, but not publicly, for fear of being canceled.

I saw this too. I do believe Long Covid is real, but I also believe its eventual prevalence will be 99% less than what it claimed now. Most so-called Long Covid is pandemic trauma, sequelae that will go away over time, and those who believe they have Long Covid but it’s something else (also real, but not caused by Covid).

I suspect Long Covid will have a prevalence rate of around 0.2% to 0.4% of those with severe cases, which matches typical PIFS from other causes. That is still a lot of people, to be fair — but it’s not the mega-apocalypse the Covidians are claiming will occur.
