Meeting Greeting

This has indeed been a strange inversion.

I met a girl on a plane a few months back, and after some light texting we finally met up. She was with her co-workers, who treated our meeting on a plane as some sort of foreign concept. Jokes about โ€œhope youโ€™re not a serial killerโ€ went around the table. Only 15 years ago we (wrongfully) treated swiping around online as the thing only โ€œsocially awkwardโ€ people tend to do and worried about how much you actually knew the person. Now people have completely flipped sides and act like, โ€œSo you just talked to a guy for a couple hours on a plane and now youโ€™re hanging out together? Bold move!โ€

I remember when it was considered completely normal to meet people in everyday life and near-suicidal to meet anyone in person that you’d met on the internet.

I don’t think what we’re doing now is any improvement at all. In most ways, it’s worse.

Nystagmus

Nystagmus is a rhythmic form of reflex eye movements composed of slow eye movements in one direction interrupted repeatedly by fast, saccade-like eye movements in the opposite direction.”

From that neuroanatomy book I”m reading! I have to read complex-ass books to learn any new words in English this days.

Yeah, it’s bizarre. Reminds of the clown who said that no one really likes vegetables because they put butter and sauces on them. I’d love to ask him if he puts salt on his steak, or barbecue sauce on anything. If he does, he must not really like meat.

No Exit

That’s right. There is no ending to a virus like SARS2. That was pretty clear since early 2020.

Bites

If you bite me on a plane, the only reason you’ll ever wake up again is because someone pulls me off of you. Well, many someones because I’m really fucking strong now. And they better be fast, because I can crush someone’s throat irreparably in about five seconds.

How You Do It

Should’ve worked. Attacking a tank from the rear is a great place to do it with something like a BTR-4.

It’s always risky attacking a tank, of course, but from the rear they’re fairly vulnerable and it takes them a while to swing their main guns around (assuming they are pointing forward). Those BTR-4s have a pretty fearsome 30mm cannon on them and though it won’t completely destroy most MBTs, it probably disabled those two permanently. Disable from the rear, then run away. That’s exactly how you do it if you can.
