Movements based on envy and wallowing in loserdom are never worth a damn.

Been there. You’re a much more effective — and scary — fighter when you don’t care whether you live or die. When I reached that point is when I started winning against bullies who attacked me.
Inflation is high now but nothing like the 1980s. Also no pandemic in the 1980s last time I checked. pic.twitter.com/U1d5ptg5Zq

No pandemic? You should probably check again because there sure fucking was! AIDS.
She’s young, so she probably doesn’t remember. Still not any kind of excuse. But it changed the country and the world quite a lot. People basically know zero history, especially outside of their tiny little field.
LOL. It’s perfectly achievable. She looks really good, but she’s not even that fit. This is the slightly nicer version of the belief that anyone who doesn’t look like a walking dumpster has a “hate body.”
I’m old enough to remember when most women in their 20s (Sydney is 24) had bodies like that, before everyone thought being 300 pounds was a normal weight.
a couple of my relatives are much fitter in their 40s than they were throughout their 30s and itโs very inspiring to witness I love to see it

I’m far, far fitter now than I was in the 30s. Don’t let the Fat Acceptance clowns and other useless haters and space-wasters tell you it’s not possible; it very much is.
Just allow them to tremble in shame and hatred before your awesome musculature. It’s what Jesus wants.
Not to go off on a huge tangent rant here, but if you want to make sure you'll always have something, pirate it.

Dead right.
The Covid panickers are gradually but inexorably losing. Wasn’t sure what would happen, but good for all of us.

I remember this — that was in the first version of Red Hat I used, the first time I ever used Linux.

The normal Florida stuff.
Historically, we didn't teach about lockdowns as default public health interventions.
But they are now part of the lexicon.
My guess is in the future we'll teach that they mainly protect rich folks, increase disparities, and come at grave risks to overall health and wellbeing.

Ayup. But to libs lockdown can’t fail, you can only fail lockdown.
I tried to actually read this piece and couldn't finish due to rage blindness. https://t.co/9oPvydOOTb

Me too. Round up NIMBYs, seize their homes and put them in camps. It’s the right answer.
Anyone who said that SARS2 and Long Covid would be civilization-ending should be thrown out with the trash.
After losing weight, I realize how gross being overweight was.
Yep. Fuck the Fat Acceptance clowns.
Most women hate being complimented in public, but every guy in the history of ever remembers every single rare time that he has ever received a compliment from a random woman in public and holds it like a little treasure.
For instance, the last verbal compliment I got in public from a woman was at a Wawa in Bradenton, Florida, a few months before the pandemic. I was wearing one of my work Oxford shirts, and the petite, cute cashier said just out of the blue, “I like your shirt. It looks really good on you.*”
I’m way more suave than I used to be and I managed to say, “Thank you. I’m going to be waiting in your line now even if it’s the long one.”
*No, for the doubters, this wasn’t the corporate “be nice to everyone” training customer service people get these days. I saw this cashier somewhat regularly and she was very shy and quiet and rarely spoke to anyone much.

I want to address a narrative that we see around womenโs sport and inclusion (particularly from those who seek to exclude trans women & women with sex variations from womenโs sport), and how this narrative is part of a bigger pattern that functions to keep women small pic.twitter.com/m5WBYnqzhx
— RealScientists | Meltem (@realscientists) May 24, 2022
This is physiologically absolute horseshit. It’s absurdly wrong. It’s comically wrong. Yes, women were excluded sometimes because the top 0.000001% of women could compete against the top 0.00001% of men in rare situations.
But the reality is that the average woman’s upper body strength is only 30-35% of the average man’s, and that advantage persists (to a somewhat lesser degree) no matter how much a woman works out. Lower body strength is a little closer — somewhere in the neighborhood of 60% as much. This is supported by an absolutely overwhelming amount of evidence, by the way. (And realize that at the elite level of sports, 0.5% differences matter a great deal.)
In short, for the most part, women can be competitive in sports where strength isn’t as big an issue or ultra-endurance is required: shooting, curling, ultra-marathons, etc. Otherwise even elite-level women will just get easily beaten by merely average male competitors.
This is part of the “biology doesn’t exist” narrative. These people are fucking insane. As someone who really enjoys watching women’s sports, it’s going to be sad to see them destroyed.
