Treatment

In many states, women will hardly be able to access healthcare at all. Fuck, I hate fascist conservatives.

So Many

The pandemic was a strange time in so many ways, but particularly in how the most joyless, least interesting, most anti-human people of all time nearly got de facto control of society. I’m of course talking about the people who wanted any form of fun or travel closed down forever.

I really did have no idea there were so many of them. I don’t understand them at all; I have as much in common with them as I do a tree sloth. Do these people truly enjoy sitting at home, doing nothing at all, for years? Is it just about power, i.e., if they can harm everyone else, they don’t care how much they harm themselves? I truly have no insight here.

I’m really interested in these people in an anthropological sense! I have no idea what motivates them (if there is a single motivation) or how they live their lives. I’m strongly introverted but I also enjoy going to restaurants, concerts, seeing sights, traveling, watching movies, even the occasional bar. These people…are just ok never doing any of that again? Don’t know how to think about that.

More Less

This will be happening more and more.

Have So

I know I write this a lot, but I don’t care. It’s simply amazing how many things have occurred in my lifetime that the majority of people believed could “never happen” and that of course have actually happened.

Days

Is it true that Iโ€™m being unrealistic about my sexual expectations?

Nope, just have a high sex drive. I was with a woman like that for a while. She generally wanted to have sex 3-4 times a day. A day! (For the dumbasses, she was perfectly healthy, had never been sexually abused, she just had a very high libido. Those women do in fact exist and are more common than you’d think.)

That’s just…not me. I literally physiologically cannot do that, and couldn’t even when I was 18. If that is important to you, find a partner who is the same.

ZG 1G 5G

I lost the tweet, but I saw some dipshit mook on Twitter arguing that long-term space travel was “impossible” because of bone density loss that occurs in zero g.

This is the dumbassest argument in the history of arguments because I personally could figure out the math and engineering of tethering two masses together with high-tensile strength kevlar cords and spinning them up to produce one g — and I am fucking terrible at math. This isn’t even hard. We just haven’t done it because we have no reason to yet.

This is same clown in 1650 who would be telling you it wouldn’t ever be possible to navigate accurately because no known technology could produce a clock good enough to measure longitude precisely.

What’s particularly delightful about bozos like that is they say things are “impossible” that we already know how to do. It’s like saying that we’ll never have wireless phones now or something. It’s just incomprehensible.

BWhip

The Covidians are blaming this (and other such instances of weird shortages) on Covid sickness and Long Covid, when in reality 99% of it is the bullwhip effect and corporate greed.
