Were never right. All the things people said were “just a phase” were lifelong interests, or things I’ve avoided for life (like having kids).
All the “realpolitik” types assume that if NATO/the US went to war with Russia, we’d be slugging it out on the ground with artillery like the Ukrainians are currently doing. Come on, y’all, it just would not happen that way. There’s a reason we spend so goddamn much on our air power, and it’s not to send people to die in artillery barrages.
Hint: artillery is big, difficult to move, easy to see and when you fire it, the fucking round leads right back to your position.
We don’t have to fight like the Ukrainians are fighting because we have tons of things the Ukrainians do not and likely never will.

Often. Perhaps most often. I think that’s because pretty actors have trouble letting themselves go, letting the “pretty” mask slip (true of men and women).
There are some that aren’t afraid of being and looking ridiculous, though: Margaret Qualley and Anya Taylor Joy are two examples. Brad Pitt is a good male example, too, especially in the last 10 years or so.
Yeah, definitely don’t know Italian well enough to watch this show without subtitles. Ah well, I tried. Spanish, yeah. Italian? Nope. (No English subs available.)
