Assuming an electric stove, it can get up to approximately 1500F*. The melting point of aluminum is around 1220F. So, yep, itโ€™s quite possible to melt an aluminum pan on a stove.

*Ignore absolute fucking idiots who claim coil elements can only hit 600F or some such bullshit. They donโ€™t understand how stoves work nor how black-body radiation works.
