Man, this shit is so weird and perverse to me:

“Nothing in common” and “creepy.” Huh. I’ve found I have quite a lot in common with people of all ages. The idea that people of slightly different ages are so hugely divergent without even considering any other factors is just such a bizarre idea counter to nearly all real-world evidence.

Don’t get me wrong: I don’t think adults should be dating minors. Not at all. There’s a reason minors are protected, and a good one. But the idea that a 21-year-old and a 32-year-old are some totally different species is so fucking bizarre to me that I can’t even express how strange it seems. How can people believe utter claptrap like that?

By the by, a lot of women date men older than they are because older guys tend to have their shit together and be less abusive than dudes their own age.

Personally I’m really glad I dated a 25-year-old when I was 19, and a 38-year-old when I was 25. Some of the best dating experiences of my life. I think everyone — men and women — should do this. And I’m glad I have younger Gen Z friends now.
