Canada has made tons of mistakes in the housing area (most of the same ones as the US), but not surprisingly it turns out that most people — some weird liberals aside — actually don’t want to live in tiny cramped pods right on top of their neighbors.
A Bank of Canada study released this year found that a preference among buyers for larger spaces increasingly now only available in suburbs has narrowed the housing price between city and suburban real estate in areas like Toronto.
Canada would be a great place to live if their housing market weren’t so absurd. And no, most people don’t want to be crammed into damn pods, no matter what you read on Twitter.

In a conventional non-nuclear war with Russia, the US military would destroy the Russian forces utterly in weeks. It wouldn’t even be a contest. I say this not because I am some “USA! USA! USA!” dude but because of how obvious this is. The Russian military is atrocious.
