Faced

Right. That’s like saying, “The bully who was tormenting was too big and scary to take on, so I went to the kindergarten and started pounding little faces in.”

Dems/libs just make no sense on this.

All the Lies

Notice also that the Firefox team fulfilled basically none of their promises about the APIs that would be available after they took away all useful functionality from the browser. Nearly none. The only significant concession was to allow Treestyle Tabs to still half-work.

All the other stuff? All they did was make fun of their own users for not wanting a broken browser and then took away even more functionality.

I wish I were really rich so I could buy that turd of an organization and fire every single one of those dumbasses.

Truly Hates

I truly do believe that Mozilla hates its Firefox users and sees them as a burden — especially those users who actually care about the product and believe power and customization should be a priority.

Reading Bugzilla tickets as the Firefox devs methodically remove functionality from the product leads to no other conclusion. The product owners and developers are truly nasty to the users who care the most, and berate those users for wanting to do things like being able to change the font size of browser elements. Truly a security issue if I’ve ever heard of one!

No, I’m not making this up. You can’t change the font size of any browser element any longer. It’s impossible.

What a bunch of absolute fucking doofuses. They deserve what’s happening to them. Fucking clowns. I am very much sorry about the money I donated over the years and the time I spent evangelizing Firefox. I wish I’d never done that and that I had my money back.

More Is Required

iPadOS 16โ€™s Stage Manager is not the future of multitasking you were hoping for.

This moronic shit is why the iPad is not bigger. They try to give us toy computers — and take away everything for “security” — but it turns out that isn’t actually very useful to anyone.

When you’re doing more than watching YouTube videos and drooling, more is required. It’s shocking I know. Ok, it’s not. I’ve been saying it for a decade as computers got worse and and more user-hostile. How in the ever-living fuck do people not realize these companies are lying to them when they claim that reduced functionality has anything at all to do with security? How can you be that big a dumbass?

Back to 1996

Using a browser now feels like using one did in 1996. They’re extremely insecure because you can’t change much, balky, hard to make do what you want, and prone to odd behavior that you can do nothing to alter.

This isn’t the time travel I signed up for.
