Ticking

I’ve found this too, though it took actually experiencing it to believe it. Ivy League people really aren’t smarter. Not at all. It might even be the opposite.

But damn, they sure do know what boxes to tick.

Interm

Bring back intermissions for films, that is. They were common into the 1970s. The drive-in theater I went to in the very early 1980s had them. I saw The Black Hole there in 1980 sometime and it definitely had one. By the way, The Black Hole is the first film of any kind I recall seeing.

Intermissions are still common for films in many other countries, too. The difference is that in the US we’re willing to make the entire experience worse so someone can get slightly richer, thus killing the film intermission.

Many Times

Yep. Lab leaks are extremely common. Happen all the time.

That’s why in early 2020 when a lot of libs were saying crazy stuff like, “Lab leaks never, ever happen and that’s an absurd conspiracy theory that a lab leaks has ever, ever occurred” I was like “alrighty then.” Because lab leaks happen many times a year. And the reported ones are probably only a small fraction of those that actually occur.

Telling You

I’ve never been as chagrined to be an American as when I went on a bank errand run with a British friend and the teller upon noticing her accent said, “Oh, you sound like you’re from Harry Potter!”

I wish Putin could travel back in time and nuke us at that very moment. Just unleash it all. We deserve it.

Milkshake Oppression

Even before the pandemic and up until now, every time I’ve ever ordered a specialty milkshake anywhere on the one day of the week I drink a milkshake (or anything like that), the various places I’ve attempted to order one has never had the shake in stock. Not once.

The only explanation: I am experiencing specialty milkshake oppression.

Rela Power

It is absurdly harmful. The PMC libs love it, though, and it’s creeping into all parts of culture now too. If you claim that relationships are about anything save power the cancellation brigade looms. Why the PMC libs want this world as the one they live in, I haven’t a clue.
