We have chosen to have an energy crisis. It didn’t have to be, and should not be. There should be a nuclear reactor every 20 miles. We should have so much energy we turn on all the lights all the time.
But no. We’ve chosen the way of pain.
Russian troops didn’t “withdraw” from Kherson, by the way. That was Russian propaganda that the Western media was happy enough to buy into for some reason.
In reality the Russian forces were in a disordered retreat while taking heavy losses as Ukrainian artillery and HIMARS fire relentlessly proceeded to nearly wipe them out. It wasn’t so much a withdrawal as it was a whipping.
